The developer has taken his inspiration from BBEdit

KKEdit 0.0.22, a text editor similar to Gedit (GNOME) and BBEdit (Mac OS), is now available for download and testing.

KKEdit features a few important functions such as: Jump to function declaration, Find Function declaration, Find and open include file, Multiple bookmarks, Save/Restore session, Pass selected text to external tools, and more.

Highlights of KKEdit 0.0.22:

• A check has been put in place for the installed manpageeditor, if succeeds menu item added in file menu. • The Manpage Editor Icon has been added to the menu; • The “Always Show In Popup Men” button has been added to external tools; • Some of the installed tools and example tools have been reinstalled.
