Linux Lite, a distribution created to show people how easy it is to use a Linux operating system, is now at version 1.0.8.

Developers of Linux Lite 1.0.8, The Linux Distro Community, have released yet another build of their very successful operating system.

Highlights of Linux Lite 1.0.8:

• Mozilla Firefox has been updated to version 26.0; • Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.8.0-34; • Webcam has been added and the PAE kernel (32bit) install options are available through the Install Additional Software scripts; • A custom .bashrc file has been added; • The Lite User Manager has been implemented; • An option to install the Lite Software Center has been added; • The Whisker Menu (you just need to add this to the taskbar) is now available.
