After the release of Linux kernel 3.0.78 LTS, 3.8.13 and 3.9.2, Greg Kroah-Hartman also announced on May 11 the immediate availability for download and upgrade of the Linux kernel 3.4.45 LTS (Long Term Support).

Just like the 3.0.78 LTS release of Linux kernel, the 3.4.45 LTS version includes an updated DRM driver for Radeon graphics cards, with no more than ten important changes.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.4.45 kernel. All users of the 3.4 kernel series must upgrade."

"The updated 3.4.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.4.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary" was stated in the email announcement.

All users of the 3.4.x branch of the Linux kernel are urged to upgrade their systems to the 3.4.45 LTS release as soon as possible. Linux kernels 3.0.78 LTS, 3.8.13 and 3.9.2 are also available for download.
