Ben Hutchings has announced the immediate availability for download of Linux kernel 3.2.53 LTS (Long Term Support).

As usual, Linux kernel 3.2.53 LTS brings a lot of fixes, driver improvements, sound fixes, and support for various devices.

Highlights of Linux kernel 3.2.53 LTS:

• The gcc-recommended GCC_VERSION macro has been added; • Interrupts have been enabled after a tx timeout; • Support has been added for Inovia SEW858 device; • A quirk has been added for the “asm goto” miscompilation bug.
