Ben Hutchings has announced the immediate availability for download of Linux kernel 3.2.49 LTS (Long Term Support).

Linux kernel 3.2.49 LTS brings a lot of fixes, driver improvements, sound fixes, and support for various devices. Highlights of Linux kernel 3.2.49 LTS:

• A memory leak that occurred if SGL had zero length entries has been fixed; • The decoding of compounds across page boundaries is now working properly; • The AMD CZ SATA device ID has been added; • A NULL pointer dereference has been fixed in auth client code (libceph).
