The 47th maintenance release of Linux kernel 3.10 is ready for upgrade

Greg Kroah-Hartman has announced the immediate availability for download of the Linux 3.10.47 LTS (Long Term Support) kernel, along with the Linux kernels 3.4.97 LTS, 3.14.11 LTS and 3.15.4.

Linux kernel 3.10.47 includes several architecture improvements, for MIPS, PowerPC and x86, various updated drivers (InfiniBand, PCI, WatchDog and iSCSI), several filesystem improvements (mostly NFS, but also ReiserFS and UBIFS), an IPv4 patch, as well as minor improvements.

“I'm announcing the release of the 3.10.47 kernel. All users of the 3.10 kernel series must upgrade.
