After the release of the Linux 3.11.1, 3.10.12 LTS and 3.4.62 LTS kernels, Greg Kroah-Hartman also announced the immediate availability for download of Linux kernel 3.0.96 LTS.

Actually, Linux kernel 3.0.96 LTS includes almost the same changes like the Linux 3.4.62 LTS kernel release, such as many networking fixes (IPv4 and IPv6), M32R fixes, a couple of updated drivers, and a s390 fix.

"I'm announcing the release of the 3.0.96 kernel. All users of the 3.0 kernel series must upgrade."

"The updated 3.0.y git tree can be found at: git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-3.0.y and can be browsed at the normal kernel.org git web browser: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git;a=summary," Greg Kroah-Hartman said in the official release announcement.

Download Linux kernel 3.0.96 LTS right now from Softpedia. We remind everyone that Linux kernels 3.11.1, 3.10.12 LTS and 3.4.62 LTS are also available for download on Softpedia.
