The Document Foundation has announced that the first Release Candidate version for LibreOffice 4.1.3 is now available for the Linux platform, which marks the start of another development cycle.

According to The Document Foundation, starting with version 4.0.0, the LibreOffice installer files have a new naming scheme.

According to the changelog, a fix has been implemented for a bug with the DOCX import, editing the YEARFRAC function no longer returns incorrect results for some dates, the copy paste action from Impress no longer breaks the Writer's Heading Styles, autocorrect entries with formatting can now be added, and much more.
