A few minutes ago, January 16th, The Document Foundation company proudly announced the fifth maintenance release of the LibreOffice 3.4 open source office suite software for Linux, Windows and Macintosh platforms, bringing several bugfixes and improvements.

LibreOffice 3.4.5 is here to fix some of the most-important issues found by various users in the previous maintenance release.

Fixes include bugs found in the Writer,  Impress, Calc, SDK, and, of course, the core libraries of LibreOffice.

As usual, LibreOffice 3.4.5 also contains some known issues, which will be fixed in the next maintenance release. LibreOffice 3.4.6 will be available for download in March 2012.
