This is not a major update, but it's nice to see that Valve works on the game

Left 4 Dead 2 has been released by Valve, along with Portal, on Steam for Linux and the game has already received an update.

Left 4 Dead 2 is an FPS zombie-killing cooperative game, developed by Valve with millions of fans all over the world.

Highlights of the latest Left 4 Dead 2 patch:

• Dedicated server depots are no longer missing shared content; • Dedicated servers are now registering properly with the master server; • Yellow screen corruption, that occurs on AMD Radeon HD 6000 Series hardware, has been corrected; • The database has been updated in order to include video cards from the Steam survey through April 2013; • The add-on sorting has been adjusted when loading the main menu. The Mutation add-ons can override UI elements.
