The latest Steam for Linux Beta update has implemented a nice touch-up from Valve and the client now blending perfectly with Unity.

Some Steam for Linux users have complained that Valve's client indicator in Ubuntu is not blending well with Unity. It was black and was looking out of place near the other indicators.

Valve just pushed another small update for the Beta version of their Steam for Linux client and the indicator has been modified to better integrate with Unity.

It may not seem like much, but it shows that the developers are listening to what the community is saying.

The latest Steam for Linux update also had a couple of other interesting fixes, one of which affected the client and prevented the update process, and the other for Counter-Strike Beta.
