Worms Reloaded, a turn-based action game developed and published on Steam for Linux by Team17, is now available for purchase with an 80% discount.

The games in the Worms franchise don't get too many discounts and this is the only title in the series that has Linux support. It runs very well on Steam for Linux, but only the basic content seems to work. The DLCs that have been made available until now are not marked with Linux support.

"Worms Reloaded features up to four player online and offline multi-player, voice support, a raft of crazy new weapons (and the return of some iconic weapons from the brand's celebrated past), achievements, leaderboards, all new high-definition landscape themes, a range of brilliant forts for the new Fort mode, new landscape editor, new play modes, hats, skins and speech banks. To top it all off, there is also a highly-involving single-player experience with tutorials, deathmatches, races, fort games and puzzles," reads the Steam synopsis.

The system requirements for Worms Reloaded are also pretty low and players should be able to run it. Users will need to have any Linux distribution released after 2010, a 2Ghz+ CPU (branch doesn't matter much), 1 GB of RAM memory, an OpenGL 2.1+ capable graphics card, and 3 GB of HDD space.

Keep in mind that the promotion for the game is set to expire in just 24 hours, so you will need to hurry.
