Kwort, a modern Linux distribution based on CRUX that combines useful applications in order to create a simple system for advanced users, has just reached version 3.5.

According to the developer, most of the applications have been updated and this version is probably the last i686 built, before switching completely to x86_64.

Users, who still have the previous release candidate of Kwort Linux 3.5 installed, can simply perform an update, with kpkg.

Highlights of Kwort Linux 3.5:

• Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.5.4; • Chromium internet browser has been updated to the latest stable version (Mozilla Firefox is available in the xapps folder); • The latest LibreOffice package is available in the xapps folder; • Ext4 is now the default filesystem.
