Canonical published earlier today, March 29th, the second Beta version of the upcoming Kubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system.
Kubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 2 (Precise Pangolin) is built on top of the KDE Software Compilation 4.8.1 environment and it is powered by Linux kernel 3.2.12.
As usual, Kubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 2 is distributed as Live CD (Desktop and Alternate) and installable DVD ISO images for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. A tech preview of Kubuntu Plasma Active for tablets is also available.
