14 DAY TRIAL // Krita, the famous open source digital painting application, will be released on Steam and it will be the first software in the Linux category.
Krita has been available on the Linux platform for a long time and it’s also part of the Calligra suite, which is updated on a regular basis.
According to its developers, the application is used by both hobbyists and professional artists in game studios, the VFX industry and design studios.
Its developers took their app and submitted it to the Greenlight program on Steam and it was voted by the community. It’s not available yet, but it has been selected and it will be ready for download soon.
What’s even more interesting is fact that Krita is free of charge and it will remain that way. The software will be also made available for the Windows platform.
