Kerbal Space Program, a multi-genre game in which the players have to create their own space project, can be purchased on Steam for Linux with a 40% discount.

Kerbal Space Program is a game that's part of the “Early Access Game” initiative. Developers can sell their titles, while they are still in development, and users can participate by providing vital feedback.

“In KSP, you must build space-worthy craft, capable of flying your crew out into space, without killing them. At your disposal is a collection of parts, which must be assembled to create a functional ship. Each part has its own function and will affect the way a ship flies (or doesn't). So strap yourself in, and get ready to try some Rocket Science,” reads the announcement.

This game has managed to remain among the top sellers on Steam for Linux, and the current discount will only enforce this trend.

The promotion is set to expire on November 18.
