A special event, dedicated to KDE SC and openSUSE, will take place at COSCUP (Conference for Open Source Coders, Users and Promoters), the largest FLOSS conference organized by local communities in Taiwan.

openSUSE and KDE will organize a full two-day track, and interested parties are asked to present their proposals, until June 15th.

The committee that is in charge with whom will make presentations about KDE and OpenSuSE, has proposed a series of topics of interests such as desktop technologies (d-bus, gstreamer, and so on), distribution technologies, challenges in adapting software to local needs, cloud computing and integration into the desktop, cross-desktop and cross-distribution collaboration, and anything else that might seem relevant for the community.

The COSCUP event is scheduled to take place in August 2012, but a firm date hasn't been arranged yet.

More details on registering for the event can be found in the official announcement.
