Introducing Ubuntu Web History Lens for Unity

It allows you to search Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome history directly from Unity Dash

The Ubuntu Web History Lens is a very useful Unity Dash plugin that allows users to search the web history of their installed Mozilla Firefox and/or Google Chrome web browser.

To install the Unity Web History Lens plugin in your Ubuntu operating system, open a terminal window (hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination) and paste the following commands (one by one, hitting Enter after each one):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:markjtully/ppa

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install unity-web-history-lens zeitgeist-datasource-firefox

You will need to restart your session after the installation. This Lens is available for the Ubuntu 11.04, Ubuntu 11.10, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Ubuntu 12.10 operating systems.
