Introducing Ubuntu Launchpad Lens for Unity

Allows you to search Launchpad for projects and people directly from Unity

The Ubuntu Launchpad Lens is an Unity Launcher plugin that provides a real time interface for searching Launchpad.

To install the Unity Launchpad Lens plugin in your Ubuntu operating system, open a terminal window (hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination) and paste the following commands (one by one, hitting Enter after each one):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ajmitch/unity-lenses
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install unity-lens-launchpad


You will also need to restart your session after the installation. Be aware that this is only availalbe for Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot).
