Following our previous articles, Ubuntu Cities Scope for Unity and Pirate Bay Torrents Lens for Unity, today we are introducing the Ubuntu Grooveshark Scope for Unity.

Ubuntu Grooveshark Scope is a Unity Dash plugin that will allow users to quickly search and access songs on the popular Grooveshark online audio streaming website.

Unity Grooveshark Scope is available from the Music Lens and provides instant access to songs and albums, playable on your web browser via the Grooveshark music streaming service.

To install the Unity Scope Grooveshark plugin in your Ubuntu operating system, open a terminal window (hit the CTRL+ALT+T key combination) and paste the following command lines (one by one, hitting Enter after each one):

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:scopes-packagers/ppa

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install unity-lens-utilities unity-scope-grooveshark


You'll have to restart your session after the installation. Be aware that it is available only for Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin).
