Mystras 11.10 is, of course, based on Xubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) and it is designed to offer users an elegant and simple desktop environment, capable of providing the right tools that users need in order to have an pleasant and productive experience, as stated on its homepage.

Mystras offers one of the most attractive and beautiful user interface built on top of the lightweight and powerful Xfce desktop environment.

Alessandro Bompadre, the developer of Mystras, is working hard to bring you the next major version, based on the upcoming Precise Pangolin operating system from Canonical.
