Intel X.Org Driver package, an open source 2D graphics driver for the X Window System as implemented by X.org, has reached version 2.21.13.
Chris Wilson has released yet another version of xf86-video-intel drivers, which features some interesting changes.
Highlights of Intel X.Org Driver 2.21.13:
• A potential memory corruption has been fixed; • A performance regression on Ironlake, which occurred due to inadvertently flushing after every operation, has been fixed; • /proc/cpuinfo is now used if cpuid4 is not available; • A conflict that occurred when probing the initial KMS configuration for ZaphodHeads has been fixed; • Rendering to Y-tiled surfaces is now permitted; • A pixmap is now created in ordinary system memory for depth=1 uploads.
