MKVToolNix, a set of tools to create, alter, and inspect Matroska files under Linux and other platforms, has now reached version 6.3.0.
Highlights of MKVToolNix 6.3.0:
• When the application is appending unframed AVC/h.264 tracks and setting the default duration of the second, all following source parts will use the same default duration; • The mmg's windows and dialogs will remember and restore their positions and sizes; • Writing the wrong values if --fix-bitstream-timing-information is used, is now working properly; • Deriving the video dimensions for the FLV1 type tracks is now possible.
A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement.
With MKVToolNix, users can get information about (mkvinfo) Matroska files, extract tracks/data from (mkvextract) Matroska files, and create (mkvmerge) Matroska files from other media files.
