Individual Membership Drive Announced by The Linux Foundation

New members will be rewarded with a 50% discount for LinuxCon Europe 2012

The Linux Foundation has announced that a new individual membership drive and promotion that offers a 50 percent discount for LinuxCon Europe 2012 registration, is now available.

If you join The Linux Foundation in the October 1-31 interval, you will receive a 50% discount for LinuxCon Europe 2012 and Embedded Linux Conference Europe (ELCE) 2012 taking between 5 – 7 November.

The individual members for The Linux Foundation usually provide support to Linus Torvalds in his endeavor to improve Linux.

“Individual membership is one of the most important programs we have at The Linux Foundation for supporting the work of Linux and its creator Linus Torvalds,” said Amanda McPherson, vice president of marketing and developer services, The Linux Foundation
