Heavy Bullets, an FPS dungeon crawler developed by Terri Vellmann and published by Devolver Digital, is now available on Steam for Linux.

Heavy Bullets is a minimalistic FPS puzzle game that has just landed on the Linux platform through the Early Access program. This means that Steam users will be able to buy and play it while it's still being developed. Users will still pay the normal price, but they can get it before the official release.

“Armed with a simple yet stylish revolver and six devastatingly plump bullets, you must reset the security mainframe to restore order and reap the rewards of a job well done. To succeed in the game, players will need to move carefully and make smart use of their bullets, items, and the environment as rushing into new areas is the fastest way to get killed in the untamed wild of the neon corridors,” reads the Steam website.

The developer also published the system requirements for Heavy Bullets and they are pretty low, if we take into consideration the graphics of the game. Players will need at least Ubuntu 13.04, a 2.0 GHz processor, 2 GB or RAM, and 300 MB of available space.

More details about the Heavy Bullets can be found on the Steam website. The title also benefits from a 15% discount that is scheduled to end on May 22.
