Hanthana Linux LXDE, a Fedora-based Linux distribution that was built to promote an operating system to the masses, especially to those with low technical knowledge, no access to the Internet or under privileged, is now at version 17.

According to the developers, Hanthana Linux 17 LXDE comes on a DVD, with a complete software repository and 3D accelerated desktop. Also, the LiveCD will help people to first test the distribution, on low-end computers, before installing it.

Hanthana Linux 17 LXDE features applications such as Mozilla Firefox, LibreOffice Writer, LibreOffice Calc and LibreOffice Impress, not to mention LXDE.

Unfortunately, the 64-bit version of Hanthana Linux 17 has yet to be released, but the developers promised the distribution should be made available next week. Download Hanthana Linux 17 LXDE right now from Softpedia.
