14 DAY TRIAL // GStreamer, a development framework for creating applications such as media players, video editors, and so on, has finally reached version 1.0.10.
The GStreamer project has announced that a new API and ABI-stable 1.x series, which makes up the GStreamer multimedia framework, has been released.
Unlike the previous update, the 1.0.10 version comes with a hefty changelog, new features and a long list of fixes.
For example, gst-play-1.0 has been added in gst-plugins-base for basic playback testing on the command line, the mssdemux plugin has been added for Microsoft Smooth Streaming, the openjpeg plug has been added for JPEG2000 decoding and encoding, and much more.
