Grsync, a GUI for rsync, the command line file and directory synchronization tool, has been updated to version 1.2.4.

Grsync 1.2.4 is designed to work with remote hosts and its focus is to synchronize local directories. Users can keep, for example, the MP3s in sync with an audio player, to make backups of the home folder, and so on.

Highlights of Grsync 1.2.4:

• A monospace font has been added in the rsync output box; • Compiling under newer versions of gcc (missing "-lm") is now possible; • Log files are now appended at every use of the software and are no longer truncated; • The date and time are now added when starting a new rsync run, which can be very useful when dealing with large logs.

A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement.
