Grml, a bootable live system (Live-CD) based on Debian which includes a collection of GNU/Linux apps designed for system administrators, is now at version 2011.12 RC1.
According to the developers, this is the first release candidate for Grml 2011.12 and it brings a downsizing and cleanup, one flavor and two architectures.
Here are some of the important changes in Grml 2011.12 RC1: EFI Boot support from USB and CD-ROM (but only for AMD64), support for mDNS, support for NFS Client, cleaned up Z-Shell configuration, and the X11 environment has been reduced in size.
