Google Chrome, a browser built on the Blink layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, has been upgraded yet again. It has just received a new stable update and the former 34 Beta branch has been promoted to stable.

The Google developers have just published details about the new Google Chrome 34 stable version that is now available for download for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X.

Like all stable versions that have been promoted from the Beta branch, the current release has gathered quite a lot of changes and improvements. For example, responsive images and unprefixed Web Audio have been implemented, importing users on new computers is now supervised, a few new apps/extension APIs have been added, and a number of stability and performance enhancements has been implemented.

One of the most interesting features of Google Chrome 34 is, of course, the “Ok Google” voice search, which is now available as default for anyone who cares enough to use it. The developers also integrated a large number of security fixes, patching a quite a few exploits and other various problems.

Usually, a complete list of changes can be found on the official website.
