Google Chrome, a browser built on the WebKit layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, is now at version 28.0.1500.63, at least for the Linux platform.

Google has decided for some unknown reason that the Linux version of Google Chrome will be ahead of the Windows and Mac OS version.

The Linux have already received a stable 28 branch of Google Chrome and the latest version launch for Windows and Mac OS, for this branch, is still in Beta.

Given the almost none-existing changelog for the 28.0.1500.63 version, it's pretty obvious that the other platforms will be getting a stable release, soon.

A complete list of bug fixes and changes can be found in the official changelog.
