Google Chrome, a browser built on the WebKit layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, is now at version 24.0.1312.35.

The beta version of Google Chrome is now out for Linux users, but it's not a major release, featuring just generic improvements. Highlights of Google Chrome 24.0.1312.35:

• The displayEmail and case insensitive comparison functions are now used when validating an email; • The XTBs have been updated based on .GRDs from branch 1312; • The delivery of audio input data has been delayed; • A fake audio device fallback has been fixed.

A complete list of bug fixes and changes can be found in the official changelog.

Download Google Chrome 24.0.1312.35 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
