This Google Chrome beta shares some features with the stable version

Google Chrome, a browser built on the WebKit layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, is now at version 24.0.1312.27.

This latest version of Google Chrome brings a few bug fixes, but it also introduces one very important new feature, full screen apps.

Highlights of Google Chrome 24.0.1312.27:

• A memory leak in GPU accelerated canvas has been fixed; • A bug affecting the console.log, which doesn’t output jQuery objects properly, has been fixed; • The layout of the Bookmark manager is no longer dependent on detection of touchscreen; • A missing kParentDirectory check has been added.
