Git, a free and open source distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency, is now at version 1.8.3.4.

Every Git version released so far had a hefty changelog and introduced a huge number of improvements, but this version is just a really small one.

Highlights of Git 1.8.3.4:

• The bisect log is no longer listing incorrect commits when the bisection ends with skipped entries; • The test coverage framework has been fixed; • The test suite for HTTP transport now runs with Apache 2.4; • "git diff" no longer fails when the core.safecrlf is set and when the working tree contents have mixed CRLF/LF line endings.

For a complete list of changes, check the official announcement.
