A Gnome 2 version is available and a Gnome 3 one is on the way

GhostBSD LXDE, a FreeBSD-based operating system based on LXDE desktop environment, is now at version 3.0 Beta 1.

GhostBSD 3.0 Beta 1 is now available in the LXDE flavor. The developers already have a GNOME 2 distribution launched and are planning to release another one with Gnome 3 support. Highlights of GhostBSD LXDE 3.0 Beta 1:

• FreeBSD 9.0 r3 has been updated to FreeBSD 9.1-BETA 1; • A new look, more clean and clear, has been implemented; • A major installer bug has been fixed; • The installer swamping the entire disk has been fixed; • Installation errors are now reported; • Support for ZFS has been added; • Improvements to wifi have been implemented.
