GhostBSD 3.5, a FreeBSD-based operating system that relies on Xfce desktop environments, is now ready for testing.

GhostBSD 3.5 Beta 3 provides users and developers with a system to test out new features in the upcoming release.

Highlights of GhostBSD 3.5 Beta 3:

• FreeBSD has been updated from RC2 to RC3; • Caja has been removed from Xfce and Lxde; • Atril has been replaced by ePDFViewer; • Mate and Openbox images are now available;

“Please be aware this release provides users, beta testers and developers with a system to test out new features in the upcoming release. Beta3 may contain buggy code and features, so we encourage you to run it only on non-critical systems,” states the announcement.
