GhostBSD, a FreeBSD-based operating system with the GNOME desktop environment, is now at version 2.5 RC2.

This is the second released for Ghost BSD 2.5 and it is based on FreeBSD 9.0 RC2. The GhostBSD Lite, on CD, will be arriving late because the developers have decided to swap GNOME with LXDE, in that version.

Highlights of GhosBSD 2.5 RC2:

· A Wi-Fi Network Manager has been added to the distribution and the Wi-Fi card is now being configured during live medium boot-up; · Florence virtual keyboard has been also added. It will be used in the future for a touch-screen environment; · e2fsprogs with support for EXT2, EXT3 and EXT4 filesystem has been introduced.
