Now it's your chance to buy the game at a ridiculous price.
The maker of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is actually the same company that has the GOG.com digital distribution platform. It's mostly oriented towards very old games, but a number of new titles and indie games also found a home. The community has been pestering CD Project about supporting Linux games and they decided to launch start this enterprise in the fall.
They also announced a few games that haven't received Linux versions until now and everyone suspected that The Witcher 2 would be one of those games, especially after it appeared for a short while in the Steam for Linux library.
CD Project is now having a massive sale on their website, so this is your chance to get The Witcher 2 at a ridiculous price with an 80% discount. Even if you will have to wait until the fall, it's still one heck of a bargain.
