The modern Geary email client that is currently used in several well-known distributions, has been updated on March 30 to version 0.10.0, a quite small release, but an important milestone in the development cycle towards the final 1.0.0 release of the software.

According to the release notes, undo support for trashed, moved, or archived email messages, support for using multiple email addresses per account, and a new split headerbar layout with UI and composer improvements are prominent features of Geary 0.10.0.

Moreover, the brand-new Geary 0.10.0 email client adds an option in the preferences dialog that allows users to easily and quickly switch between the 2-column and 3-column layouts, and introduces new keyboard shortcuts for navigating conversations (next/previous).

Last but not least, an issue with displaying of inline images referenced by Content-ID has been repaired, numerous enhancements and optimizations have been implemented, and lots of bugs have been squashed in the new Geary release.

Of course, several language translations have also been updated in this new release of Geary. You can download Geary 0.10.0 right now from Softpedia. Geary’s developer, Yorba, recommends all users to upgrade to this release.
