Even if it took the developers quite a while to bring the title on Steam for Linux, it's a good thing they did. You can now purchase the game with a whopping 50% discount.
“For the Steam release of Game Dev Tycoon we have updated the game with a longer story line, new features and completely re-balanced the game based on player feedback to make it more enjoyable,” reads the synopsis of the game.
The Linux system requirements are also quite acceptable and everyone should be able to play it: a 2 GHz dual-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, hardware accelerated graphics with dedicated memory, and a monitor capable of running the game at a resolution of 1024x768.
