This release is part of the upcoming GNOME 3.8.2 desktop environment

The GNOME Project announced a few minutes ago, May 13, the immediate availability for download of the second maintenance release of the GTK+ toolkit for the upcoming GNOME 3.8.2 desktop environment.

GTK+ 3.8.2 fixes exactly eleven bugs and updates seven translations. Among the bugs fixes, we can mention a typo in the documentation comment, the document icon-shadow CSS property issue, Add to Bookmarks is no longer enabled when nothing is selected, and the GtkCellRendererCombo function requires click-and-hold.

Moreover, the GdkWindow and GtkMenu sizes will no longer get out of sync, the printer dialog no longer crashes when printer-state-message is not provided, the DnD/tooltip widget is now better selected on GtkOverlay and other layered containers, the GTK CSS keybinding has been repaired, and an unused boolean field has been removed from GtkCheckMenuItem.

Last but not least, the following translations have been updated in this stable release of the GTK+ toolkit: Brazilian Portuguese, German, Italian, Japanese, Lithuanian, Norwegian Bokmal and Russian. More details can be found in the official raw changelog.
