GParted Live, a small bootable GNU/Linux distribution for x86 based computers that enables users to take advantage of all the features of the latest versions of the GParted application, is now at version 0.12.1-1.

GParted Live 0.12.1-1 has arrived quickly after the release of Gnome Parted Editor (Gparted) 0.12.1 and as expected, has the same changes and updates.

Just like in the previous updates, the most important change has been to the underlying GNU/Linux operating system, which is based on the Debian Sid repository as of April 10th, 2012.

The other major modification expected to carry into the Gparted Live version is the update to the Linux kernel which is now at 3.2.14-1. Download GParted Live 0.12.1-1 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
