Brasero, an application used to burn CDs and DVDs for the Gnome Desktop, designed to be as simple as possible, is now at version 3.11.3.

Brasero has not been all that active, but the developers have returned with new fixes and features for the 3.12.x GNOME development branch.

Highlights of Brasero 3.11.3:

• The new Tracker 0.18 is now supported; • X session support has been removed and Brasero now works under Wayland; • Various translations have been updated.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement. Download Brasero 3.11.3 right now from Softpedia. Keep in mind that GNOME developers have been working on the GNOME 3.12 version for quite some time, but it's better late than never.

Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
