Even if the development for the 3.10.x branch has already started, the 3.8.x version is still getting updates.

Highlights of GNOME Shell 3.8.4:

• The time stamp in chat messages has been improved;
• The autorun notifications have been fixed;
• The background is no longer turning solid blue on monitor changes;
• The orientation of the gradient has been corrected in the app menu, in RTL locales;
• A workaround has been implemented for a crash that was causing bugs in the code;
• Various bug fixes have been implemented.
