Six bugs have been squashed and many translations updated

The GNOME Photos app has been recently updated as part of the second Beta release of the forthcoming and highly anticipated GNOME 3.16 desktop environment, due for release on March 25, 2015. GNOME Photos 3.16 Beta 2 bringing a number of fixes and updated translations detailed below for your reading pleasure.

According to the release notes, GNOME Photos 3.16 Beta 2 fixes a crash that occurred when trying to use the window after it has been killed, makes thumbnails for local items before creating those for remote items, and repairs the lifetime of the miners-changed handler in the indexing-notification component.

Moreover, this version prevents multiple About dialogs from opening, fixes a crash that occurred when stopping the miners, and addresses the lifetime of the info-updated handler in the view-model component.

Last but not least, several translations have been updated in the second Beta release of GNOME Photos for GNOME 3.16, including Brazilian Portuguese, German, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Hungarian, Swedish, Czech, Ukrainian, Slovenian, French, Hebrew, Greek, Spanish, Kazakh, Polish, Lithuanian, Serbian, Russian, and Slovak.

The source package of GNOME Photos 3.16 Beta 2 can be downloaded right now via Softpedia, but we strongly suggest to test it using the openSUSE-based Live CD that is also available on our dedicated Linux section. Please note that the entire package is unstable, thus not suitable for production machines.
