The GNOME developers were proud to announced a couple of days ago, March 1, the immediate availability for download of the GNOME PackageKit 3.6.2 package, for the stable version of the GNOME 3.6 desktop environment.

GNOME PackageKit 3.6.2 is now more careful when handling windows, the gpk_dbus_task_set_xid function is no longer called twice, it will no longer crash when the window that invoked the task exits, and uses the right titles for any decoder or encoder version.

Moreover, the following translations have been updated in GNOME PackageKit 3.6.2: Bengali India, Dutch, Korean, Lithuanian, Spanish, Tamil and Uyghur.

The following people contributed to this release: Matthias Clasen and Richard Hughes. More details about this new stable release of GNOME PackageKit can be found in the official raw changelog.
