GNOME Music 3.10 Beta 2 was officially announced a few days ago by the GNOME developers, bringing lots of bugfixes, new features and updated translations.

GNOME Music 3.10 Beta 2 will now load all tracks in the Songs view mode immediately after switching to it for the first time, and the first song will be played if there's no playlist and the Play command is executed in MPRIS.

Moreover, in order to make loading songs faster, URIs are now discovered asynchronously, the message displayed when no music files are found is more explicit, and an error icon will be displayed when a file is deleted.

The following translations have been updated in this second Beta release of the upcoming GNOME Music 3.10 application: Brazilian Portuguese, Czech, Galician, Italian, Lithuanian, Norwegian Bokmal, Polish, Slovak, Slovenian, and Spanish. Also, the Irish and Tajik translations have been added.

Lots of bugs have been squashed in this release. For more details, please view the official raw changelog. Download GNOME Music 3.10 Beta 2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a beta version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
