FreeBSD, an operating system for x86, ARM, IA-64, PowerPC, PC-98 and UltraSPARC architectures, is now at version 9.2 Beta 2.

A new Beta version of FreeBSD has been released in the current development cycle and it implements a large number of fixes. Highlights of FreeBSD 9.2 Beta 2:

• An interoperability problem between FreeBSD NFS Server (version 4) and Linux NFS (version 4) clients has been fixed; • nvme(4) and nvd(4) have been fixed in order to support non 512-byte sector sizes; • An XHCI regression has been fixed; • A bug has been corrected in ipv6_prefix_IF.
