Football Manager Classic 2014, a simplified version of the famous Football Manager 2014 made by Sports Interactive and heading to PlayStation Vita, will also arrive on Steam for Linux.

Football Manager Classic 2014 (FMC 2014) is a game initially developed for PlayStation Vita by Sports Interactive, but it seems that a Linux build is also planned. The developers haven't said a word about this. What's even weirder is the fact that the full Football Manager 2014 is already launched on the Linux platform.

The developers have said that FMC 2014 is the first game for the mobile platform to feature the 3D Match Engine, and basically this is mostly the full game that you can buy on the PC, but adapted for mobile consoles and with less features.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch.

The version for PlayStation Vita is scheduled to arrive on April 11, but it's unlikely that a Linux version will also be made available without any official announcement.
