Fist Puncher, a sidescrolling beat ‘em up game developed by Team2Bit and published by Adult Swim Games, will get a Linux version soon.

Fist Puncher is a 2D action game made in the spirit of old titles like Final Fight, and its developer tried to follow the same design and graphics. The title was released a while ago, back in June 2013, but the developers from Team2Bit are now considering a Linux version.

“The sinister Milkman holds the city of Las Cruces in his nasty criminal grip, and it’s up to legendary black belt neurosurgeon Dr. Karate and the rest of the Fist Puncher team to deliver old-school justice to the lawless streets,” reads the Steam website.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the Steam database and by no means is it completely certain. The Steam Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries are first visible in the Steam Database before their official launch.

The developers haven't said anything official about a Linux release and there is no launch date, but it seldom happens for a game to be listed on the Steam database and not arrive on Linux.
